David Abrahamovitch - CEO and Founder, Grind

 

  

Grind was established with the aim of bringing the buzzing independent coffeeshop culture of Australia to the UK.

Founder David Abrahamovitch refers to the brand not as a coffee chain, but a pub for millennials, with music underpinning the atmosphere of each store. Each store is open till late, turning into a cocktail bar for its evening clientele.

After establishing the first Grind store in Shoreditch in 2011, the company grew to £5 million turnover in just five years. It ensures

that the vast majority of its drinks are blended to work with milk, to complement the tastes of its London market, in contrast to many

coffee shops that design their blends for black coffee drinkers.
