ELITE interview to Paolo Romiti, President and CEO of H2H, anintegrated communication agency who works in multi-disciplinary teams in order to manage communication and marketing projects, digital business and multichannel strategies.
What does “entrepreneurship” mean to you?
Giving a univocal definition of "entrepreneurship", at the present time, is a complex game. H2H is a company that every day is called to deal with a constantly evolving market (the communication one), where new technologies liquidly redraw the boundaries of industry 4.0 and the global landscape.
This is why my experience has taught me that being an entrepreneur means making the most of your skills in every challenge, to guarantee performance at the highest quality rate. First and foremost, it is essential to be proactive: you cannot give up anticipating the needs of people and the different demands of the reference market.
A company wishing to emerge must now know how to be obsessed clients, guaranteeing its interlocutor's performance able to respond to their needs, even before they arise.
Synergy with stakeholders, integrity, transparency, and rigor: these are just some of the main ingredients that form the basis of the result-oriented soul of the H2H teams.
What are the values that distinguish H2H in the SME approach?
Over the years we have been fortunate to work with companies of the caliber of Mondadori, Mercedes-Benz, Sony or Enel (just to name a few ...). Yet, H2H has always considered SMEs as possible and stimulating interlocutors to turn to. Given their structural conformation (less complex than the large market realities), with SMEs, we can make room for our consulting and strategy skills even more effectively.
To get involved with an SME is, for us, equivalent to supporting it in communicating and telling its brand in a world that is evolving at frenetic speeds: obviously, aiming to achieve absolute level performance (I repeat: H2H is result-oriented by nature).
We are convinced that every SME represents a specific case, an opportunity for an experiential journey to travel together. As a communication agency, we offer our customers much more than ideas or suggestions: our goal is to make a difference in the method and approach to work, optimizing them according to results and substantial changes in trends.
In the field of SMEs, our obsessed client translates into four core values, which we summarize under the headings: "design ideas for business", "succeed together", "simplicity" and "trust and consistency".

What are the moments in which companies benefit most from your support (business changes, new product/service launches, ...)? And what are the most common resistance and difficulties you encounter?

This allows us to manage, at the communication level, every moment of the evolution of a company with extreme effectiveness.
We know how to make the most of each of our assets to support our customers in the design and management of online and offline marketing and communication campaigns, with a digital transformation perspective based on convergence and performance, implementation of brand launch and repositioning strategies, branded and unbranded content, advanced management of digital properties (from sites to social) and materials and content for the retail universe.
We have achieved amazing results even in heterogeneous campaigns dedicated to start-ups belonging to the most diverse sectors, ready to go to enter the market for the first time. Being multitasking and being able to adapt in every situation are in fact skills on which we have never compromised.
The greatest resistance we often encounter, however, is linked to the organizational inertia that characterizes some customers. In these cases, we are called to come to terms with consolidated habits, sometimes even more powerful than the sincere desire for change expressed by the customers themselves.
And it is precisely in these contexts that the result-oriented nature of H2H performs best, a direct consequence of our belief in data driven marketing and content strategy. Our holistic strategic approach thus favors the transition from a storytelling model to a story doing system.
