For me, entrepreneurship means taking responsibility for building something that lasts over time. It’s not just about running a business or generating economic results: it’s about having a vision, making difficult decisions, creating jobs, empowering people, and leaving a positive mark on your community.
In my case, it means carrying forward an Italian industrial company rooted in the Biella district, striving every day to combine manufacturing tradition, innovation, quality, and tangible sustainability. An entrepreneur must be able to look ahead, but without losing touch with the factory, the product, the customers, and the people who make everything possible.

The most important lesson I’ve learned is understanding how essential it is to open the company to external perspectives. Often, especially in family-owned and manufacturing businesses, growth relies heavily on experience, intuition, and deep knowledge of one’s sector. These are incredibly valuable elements, but today they’re no longer enough.
The ELITE program helped me look at DI.VE’ with a more managerial mindset: governance, strategy, organization, finance, access to capital, and scale-up opportunities. It made me realize that a company’s solidity doesn’t depend solely on product quality, but also on its ability to structure itself, measure performance, communicate its value effectively, and prepare for future challenges.
Equally valuable was the exchange with other entrepreneurs: different industries, different problems, yet often similar dynamics. It forces you to lift your gaze and step outside the daily routine.

To me, it means never forgetting where we come from: industrial culture, the territory, people, and craftsmanship. But it also means never settling, always looking forward, innovating, and preparing the company for the future. And there’s a crucial point: an entrepreneur cannot live on vision alone. They must understand reality, numbers, the factory, customers, and everyday challenges. Only then do decisions become truly solid.

Because many Italian SMEs have enormous potential, yet often struggle to fully express it due to organizational, financial, or cultural limitations.
