The Third Edition of the French-Italian Accelerator kiskstarts: A Program Dedicated to Strengthening Trade Exchanges Between the Two Countries

The initiative, promoted by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Bpifrance, ELITE-Euronext Group, and Team France Export, allows Italian and French companies to accelerate their development in each other's markets

In the two previous editions of the program, which included training activities and business matching meetings, around 70 companies were involved, with more than 100 hours of training time and over 400 business matches organised each year, of which about 30% resulted in business opportunities

Paris/Milan, July 1, 2025 – Further strengthening cooperation between Italy and France and stimulating trade exchanges and business relations between companies from the two countries. These are the primary objectives of the third edition of the French-Italian Accelerator, a program designed for companies seeking to grow and expand abroad. The initiative is supported for the first time by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, in continuity with the historical partners Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Bpifrance, ELITE – Euronext Group, and Team France Export.

The program enables Italian and French companies to identify and capitalise on sustainable development opportunities in both countries. The renewal of the project, following the success of previous editions, is further proof of the fruitful collaboration between the economic actors of Italy and France involved in accelerating the growth of companies. This edition will include a total of 19 companies active in various sectors of industry and services.

Specifically, four sessions will be held alternately in France and Italy, between Paris and Milan, dedicated to training and business matching meetings, organised based on the specific needs of the companies. In particular, the training sessions will be managed by SDA Bocconi School of Management and Sciences Po and will focus on topics such as strategy and internationalisation, leadership, and sustainability. Additionally, companies will benefit from an online learning platform with courses, workshops, and web conferences organised by Bpifrance Université and SDA Bocconi.

Companies will also be able to interact with the leading players in their markets by participating in major international events (such as Bpifrance Inno Génération - BIG 2025 and the ELITE Day), which represent networking opportunities to strengthen transalpine partnerships and promote cross-border investments.

The initiative has involved around 70 Italian and French companies, with more than 100 hours of training dedicated to export and internationalisation topics and over 400 business matching meetings organised for each edition, of which about 30% turned into business opportunities.

Alexandre Guillo, Head of the Accelerators branch of Bpifrance, said: "The launch of this third promotion of the French-Italian Accelerator is in line with Bpifrance's ambitions to encourage the emergence of national and international champions. By strengthening their competitiveness and international presence, we are giving these companies the means to accelerate their growth and seize new market opportunities, while ensuring the dynamism of the French and European economic fabric".

Vincenzo Paolo Carbonara, Head of Growth Finance at CDP, said: "The French-Italian Accelerator takes another step forward and reaches its third edition, strong from the tangible successes achieved so far and thanks to the fruitful collaboration with all institutional partners. As CDP, we aim to promote the dynamism of our companies in their expansion into foreign markets and to continue creating new tools that generate development opportunities. The growth of companies and the strengthening of cooperation and synergies between Italy and France remain the core and strength of this program".

Marta Testi, CEO of ELITE-Gruppo Euronext, said: "Growing in a global market requires vision, skills, and access to strategic resources. With the third edition of the French-Italian Accelerator, we offer companies concrete tools to face the challenges of internationalisation, enhancing the strategic axis between Italy and France and the European mission of ELITE and the Euronext Group".
