Avanzi - Sostenibilità per Azioni is a public limited company, established as a benefit corporation, active since 1997, which deals with sustainability and social innovation. It has its headquarters in Milan, where it manages the coworking space located in Via Ampere, and operational offices in Rome and Catania. It founded and controls acube Srl, a certified business incubator, is co-founder of the BASE Milano cultural centre and, finally, promoter of the aImpact investment fund aimed at institutional investors, which supports the development and growth of innovative start-ups and SMEs whose mission is to generate a positive social, environmental and cultural impact on the community. 

He promoted the establishment of and supports the activities of the Italian Observatory on Business and Human Rights (OIIDU) to promote awareness and the development of appropriate business processes, including in the supply chain. Avanzi can count on 40 employees and collaborators with diverse seniority and backgrounds, which has enabled the company to build up a significant portfolio of projects with companies, including listed companies, third sector organisations, start-ups and public clients.  

Services offered 

Avanzi's offering – Sustainability for Action for companies and institutions operating in various industrial sectors, energy, infrastructure, services, and for operators in the financial sector, focuses on integrating ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles into corporate management strategies and processes, promoting sustainable and responsible business models and practices, with the aim of facilitating the transition to a more equitable and sustainable future. Through an interdisciplinary approach, it is able to support organisations in the development of sustainability strategies and plans, defining sustainability management processes, from due diligence to reporting, developing internal skills and communicating progress in terms of ESG impact and performance, both in response to regulatory requirements and in terms of gaining a competitive advantage in the market or institutional positioning in their reference context.
