In 1922 Ruggero Bauli open his handmade confectionery shop in Verona with the idea to endow the Pandoro with the dignity of being the Christmas cake par excellence. During the fifties that small confectioner’s shop became a confectionary industry; the Bauli brand was already a byword for quality and festive occasions. The brand’s success made a major transformation necessary, the company took the ruote of development. Since the early 70 the Family has delegated the management of the company to the managers and equipped the company with a system of corporate governance. During the nineties Bauli became the Italian leader of the festive pastries. In 2004 Bauli began a development for acquisitions to strengthen in products of daily breakfast and snacks and it acquired FBF, the most important croissant’s industry in Italy, Doria, a historic brand of biscuits and crackers, Motta and Alemagna historic brands of festive products, finally Bistefani leader in snacks and biscuits . The company has become a leader Group in the festive products and croissants. Now a days Bauli is an industry of about 178.000 square metres of production facilities, 5 plants, 28 production lines, over 110.000 tons of produced per year.The turnover in the financial year is approximately EUR 480 million obtained through the work of 1500 employees.In Italy the company’s mission is to keep on increasing the range of own leader brands while, overseas, is to develop sales subsidiaries and production activities for supporting a fast growth in sales.Bauli is member of the UniCredit Lounge.
