Kométa is a major food business actor on the Hungarian stage, which possesses one of the most modern and efficient - competitive pig meat processing plant in Hungary and in Central Europe. Industrial Complex on 150 thousand m2, 30 thousand m2 built-up area with a whole production chane under one roof. Our activities: - Pig slaughtering - capacity: 20 thousand pigs / week - Cutting and boning - Meat in MAP (modified atmosphere packaging) - capacity: 500 thousand trays week - Production of Processed Products(PP) - cap.: 300 tons/week, incl. 35 tons salami - Slicing and packaging In Practice pigs are coming in (alive), going out: meat (fresh or frozen), whole or sliced salami, ham, bacon, cooked loin, collar, lyoner in MAP and other cold cuts.
