My unconventional journey has given me a certain flexibility in interpreting underlying dynamics.
I started my career designing end-to-end automation systems for industrial processes, helping transform complex production systems into more efficient and controllable operations, while in parallel building expertise in financial derivatives and stock market dynamics.
Later, as a photojournalist for one of the world’s leading agencies, I covered a range of contemporary social issues around the globe.
It was the beginning of the environmental issue as we know it today, and thanks to my previous experiences I immediately understood that sustainability does not exist until it becomes measurable. I realized that without shared and scientifically validated metrics, even the most urgent issues remain abstract. I consider this the most important lesson, and therefore I set out to apply this principle to a resource that I have always perceived as fundamental: water.
