1. What does “entrepreneurship” mean to you?
To me, entrepreneurship means taking responsibility for turning a vision into reality even when the odds are against you. It’s the belief that you can create something better, something different and long term, even if you start as the underdog.
Entrepreneurship is the courage to innovate, the discipline to keep going when it’s hard, and the willingness to grow faster than your circumstances. It’s not a job title, it’s a mindset of ownership, resilience, constant reinvention, genuine care for people and a commitment to serve.

 

2. What is the biggest experience or lesson gained on your growth journey so far?
The biggest lesson on my growth journey is that nothing is impossible when you refuse to give up. Since 2008, Polleo Sport has been built step by step, often in situations where the odds were not in our favor. That’s where our value of fighter mentality was born. I learned early that doors don’t open because you knock once they open because you return with more determination, more clarity, and a stronger reason why.
I also learned that growth is not comfortable. It forces you to confront what must change, even when people or systems resist it. But companies, just like people, grow only when they step into discomfort. That’s how we transformed Polleo Sport from a underdog sport nutrition concept into a truly omnichannel brand one that connects retail, online, wholesale and FMCG with the same mission to make high quality, science based sports nutrition accessible to every household.
One of the most emotional lessons for me has been understanding that fear is just a story we tell ourselves. When we decided to enter FMCG, it felt like stepping into a world much bigger than us. But courage creates momentum. That one step opened markets, increased household penetration, strengthened the sports nutrition category and showed us that consumers everywhere in gyms, in supermarkets, in everyday life deserve better products and better choices.
And perhaps the most important lesson: growth is a responsibility. When you expand as a brand, you don’t just grow your business you grow a category. You raise standards. You educate consumers. You bring innovation to shelves where it didn’t exist before.
That is what motivates us every day: the belief that sports nutrition belongs in the mainstream, that active living should be accessible to everyone, and that together with strong FMCG partners we can shape the future of this category across Europe.

3. How is your company acting as a game changer in the landscape?
For us, being a game changer means raising the standards of an entire category not just participating in it. Polleo Sport is reshaping the sports nutrition landscape by bringing science based, transparent and truly innovative products to the market. While many brands focus on marketing first and formulation second, our approach is the opposite: we start with research, scientific validation, ingredient quality and consumer safety. That is the foundation on which everything else is built.
We innovate where others hesitate. We test what others prefer to hide. We publicly stand behind our formulations, our suppliers, our manufacturing partners and our product claims. In a category where consumers often feel confused or unsure who to trust, we see it as our responsibility to bring clarity, simplicity and honesty.
What makes us a game changer is not only what we produce, but how we deliver it. We have taken sports nutrition out of its niche and placed it into mainstream channels retail, online, wholesale and FMCG making high quality supplements accessible to a much wider audience. With our emerging shop in shop model, new RTD lines, HydroX proteins and our own production facility, we are building a platform that can scale across Europe while elevating the category itself.
Our goal is not just to compete. Our goal is to transform sports nutrition into a modern, transparent and trusted category and to inspire partners to join us in that shift.

  

4. What Should Your Life Motto Be?
My life motto would be: It always seems impossible until someone does it, but do it the way a knight would, not a barbarian.
Over the years, I’ve learned that anyone can charge forward, but how you build, how you act after you win, and what remains after you matters far more than the victory itself. Barbarians think only about today and what is good just for themselves. Knights think about tomorrow about the people who walk the road after them.
In business and in life, the real challenge is not only to achieve results, but to achieve them in a way that lifts the whole community around you. To make choices that are good for your team, your partners, your customers and the culture you leave behind.
That means leading with courage, but also with responsibility. Moving fast, but not recklessly. Building success that lasts, not success that burns bright and disappears.
And in all of that never forgetting joy. Never losing the ability to laugh, to have fun, to joke and to stay human. Achievements matter, but the people you share the journey with matter even more.
So my motto is a reminder that true success is not just about doing the impossible, it’s about doing it with integrity, with heart, with fun and with people you care about.
