Interview with Angelo Sidoti, Co-CEO and CFO of uBroker
What does “entrepreneurship” mean to you?
Entrepreneurship: A Journey of Innovation and Growth Over the years, entrepreneurship has undergone a radical transformation, but certain elements continue to be fundamental to the success of any venture. Today, innovation is the driving force behind business development, accompanied by an increasingly challenging strategic vision, in which the customer is at the centre of every business decision. Similarly, people's well-being has become a crucial aspect: human resources are the beating heart of the company, supporting its growth through career paths, performance-related incentive systems and inclusive and stimulating work environments. Ultimately, it all boils down to a few fundamental concepts: a sense of belonging, credibility and reputation, which must be built and cultivated both within the company and with stakeholders.
What was the most significant experience or lesson you learned during your career?
Leadership Lessons: A Path of Growth My experience has led me to hold positions of great responsibility, such as CFO and CEO, in various industrial sectors. I have learned to manage the complexities of the market, sector dynamics and exceptional events, as well as to lead the launch of new initiatives where innovation is the hallmark. To address these challenges, it is essential to have a clear strategic vision shared by top management, transferring leadership values such as sharing and involvement. It is equally necessary to have the right tools to constantly monitor the company, projecting different scenarios and measuring ourselves against increasingly challenging objectives.

My motto: Lead with values and vision Over the years, my approach to leadership has evolved. Alongside the values of competence, fairness, confidentiality and practicality, I now also consider sharing and involvement to be essential. Every member of the company has a well-defined role and specific responsibilities, and must be able to express their leadership in a clear and authentic way. In order to grow and reach greater heights, it is essential to focus on people's skills and the company's values.
